See what it’s like from the top of the flying bar at Biloxi’s newest amusement park

You can now sip a cocktail from 100 feet in the air at Margaritaville Resort in Biloxi.

The Aerobar ride, built by European company Aeorophil, is located at the new Paradise Pier amusement park.

There is an extra cost to ride the Aerobar, which gives riders a unique view of the Gulf Coast while enjoying a drink.

The Sun Herald checked out the ride on the park’s opening day.

Here’s how it works:

  • Riders sit facing each other in a circle with a ride guide in the middle while enjoying cocktails ordered from the bar below.
  • As riders enjoy their drinks and the scenery, the ride slowly rotates and climbs 115 feet in the air.
  • The ride takes two minutes to go up and down and stays at the top peak for five minutes., according to the company website.
