Big Freedia’s brother shot to death in New Orleans, bounce artist says
A man shot and killed Wednesday night in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in New Orleans was the brother of New Orleans bounce artist Big Freedia.
The Advocate reports that Big Freedia mourned her brother on social media.
According to The Advocate, Adam Ross, 35, was found lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head around 10:30 p.m. in the Central City Area.
NOLA.com reports that Freedia has canceled shows on Jan. 26, 27, and 28 because of the death.
