JACKSON -- A federal appeals panel has upheld the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by a group of Mississippi Gulf Coast residents and landowners who alleged emissions by energy companies contributed to global warming, which intensified Hurricane Katrina, which, in turn, damaged their property.
