Last week, former Ole Miss and Pascagoula football star Senquez Golson realized a dream with his second-round selection in the NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On Wednesday, it was revealed which number Golson will be wearing for one of the NFL's great franchises.
Golson, who wore No. 11 at Pascagoula, said that No. 27 is nothing new to him.
First Football number ever was 27 and was for years.. I'm glad we reunited https://t.co/jDHTZRXoiv— Senquez Golson (@Quez_G) May 6, 2015
Golson was the 56th overall selection in the 2015 draft after having a breakout senior season that included an SEC-leading 10 interceptions and a finalist selection for the Nagurski Trophy.
