For many people going for a run is an escape. You don't necessarily want to get every text message or status update beeping in your ear when using your phone to play music. The Mighty music player allows you to escape the beeping – and bulk – that comes with carrying your phone on the run while still allowing you to listen to your Spotify playlist.
The tiny device, which isn't much bigger than quarter, can be clipped onto your shirt or waistband, and you'll quickly forget it's there. Yet the buttons are easy enough to manipulate, and it's intuitive to use. You can store up to 1,000 songs on your Spotify playlist on the device – which also means you don't need to worry about getting a signal on the run, making this an excellent option for trail runners who like to go off the beaten path. Mighty has a five-hour battery life, it's water-resistant, and it pairs with any Bluetooth headsets or speakers. One caveat – you do need a Spotify premium account to use Mighty. But if music is a major part of your exercise routine, it's hard to imagine an easier way to bring it with you.
