Former Gulfport and Harrison Central star Jonathan “Biscuit” Floyd is starring at Copiah-Lincoln Community College this season. Despite leading 10-1 Co-Lin in scoring, the former Coast star has yet to earn a D1 scholarship offer.
Former Ole Miss Rebel C.J. Johnson announced on Twitter he is joining Pearl River Community College’s football staff to coach the defensive line. The Philadelphia, Mississippi, native returns to the Magnolia State after serving as Lane Kiffin’s defensive graduate assistant this past season at Florida Atlantic. Prior to that, Johnson was a GA for Buddy Stephens at East Mississippi.
Southern Miss, Ole Miss and Mississippi State got a jump start on their respective 2018 signing classes Wednesday with the start of the new early signing period.
