Former Southern Miss track standout Tori Bowie earned a spot Saturday in the women’s 100-meter semifinals at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon.
Bowie won her heat, but tied for third overall . Both Bowie and English Gardner advanced with a time of 10.90 seconds. Jenna Prandini’s 10.81 was the fastest time.
The semifinals will be at 6:02 p.m. Sunday and the finals at 7:44 p.m.
Bowie, 25, has the fastest time in the U.S. this year with a 10.80.
