The state Commission on School School Accreditation has restored the Moss Point School District's rating.
The district's rating went from "accredited" to "advised" a year ago after the commission found that officials submitted false records regarding special education teachers and student attendance and received more money than it should.
Moss Point last summer submitted a plan to correct the problem, and at the commission's recent meeting, members gave the district an "accredited" rating again.
The district is holding a meeting this afternoon to tell employees and teachers about the accreditation.
