Three Coast businessmen have been sentenced on guilty pleas in a conspiracy to defraud the federal government by hiring illegal immigrant workers.
Randall Jacob “Randy” Weitzel, 50, of Gulfport must forfeit $475,000 and serve six months in prison followed by five months of house arrest.
A federal judge gave Agustin Arcadia, 44, of Vancleave a three-month prison term followed by six months of house arrest.
Edwood S. “Woody” Brodtmann, 61, of Bay St. Louis received three years' probation and a $5,000 fine.

The illegal immigrants worked on projects including the federal courthouse in Gulfport and a training building at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi.
Weitzel operated Artisan Textures Inc. in Biloxi and other companies including Procoat of LA in Baton Rouge, La.
