Biloxi Mayor A.J. Holloway said after today's City Council meeting today that he has not been approached by representatives of the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art regarding a request for funding.
Holloway told the Sun Herald this information after the meeting ended with no representative of the museum asking to address the City Council.
Ohr president Larry Clark said in a story published in Sunday's Sun Herald that the museum board would have to ask the city for money to help with operating expenses, even though he knew the city didn't have the revenue.
The Council did talk about the former Margaritaville property on the beach owned by Ceasar's Entertainment. A statement from the Grand was read, which said there was no change in status on the project.
