A: Hi, thanks for the question, low E glass is like a heat reflector in, or on the glass, many types of low E glasses are available. Make sure u ask 4 lowest U-factor. Argon gas fools the space between the glasses, making it work as if it were greater. .... Q: What are the options of installing hurricane protection for windows that are easy to put during a hurricane? My biggest problem is most of my house is vinyl siding and there is no ledge on the windows to set plywood on and the back of the house I have three very large windows that are only 3 inches apart, so using Plyolox to hold plywood in place will not work and I don't want to constantly keep drilling holes in my vinyl siding year after year. is there some type of automatic shutters that can be install that you can roll down during a hurricane? Thank you.
