Q: i just got 3 estemates for a new a/c, why are the prices so differant?

Answered 05/19/08 21:55:36 by Henry Munoz

A: the differance is in the quality of the installation, the guy in the unmarked pick up, budweiser t-shirt and jeans is probably going to be low on his estimate and quality, where the guy in the marked van, clean cut uniformed tech you could expect a high quality, proper installation. in short you get what you pay for

Answered 03/01/07 00:35:30 by Henry Munoz

A: just like cars there are models for any budget. the lower cost cars are of a less quality than a higher priced car. the same is for air conditioning, a mercedes you know is a very high quality car and you expect to pay more for it, the trane air conditioner, you know is a very high quality air conditioner and you would expect to pay more for it

Q: How do find the size of my heat pump unit for replacement? I have found the old unit (comfortmaker) Model number: BYMB024-030GA Serial number: R910600261 I found these numbers on the inside airhandler unit. Also I noticed on the label it said the hi pressure should be 300psi and the low 150psi does that sound right? My pressure on the units now read 160 high and 70 on the low side. Should I charge the unit to 150 on the low? Unit is not cooling properly air temp is flat. Any help/comments would be appricated. Thanks
