Locally, she has served as a former member and officer of the Board of Directors for Coast Transit Authority and Westminster Academy, and is a current member of the Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau of Mississippi, and a past Board member of the Harrison County Beautification Committee. She is an active member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport, where she serves as a Eucharistic Minister. Suzie has been married to her husband and business partner, Bob, since 1982, and they have two children, John and Betsey.
