Halloween events

The spookiest day of the year has dawned — Halloween — and by nightfall ghosts, goblins and ghouls of all sorts will be roaming the streets in search of tricks and treats, both of which are in abundant supply. If you are venturing out into the streets, remember to follow safety guidelines and if you’re driving, keep your eyes peeled for youngsters. Have fun and be safe.

Halloween Costume Contest: 4-5 p.m., The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center of Arts & Education, Government Street, Ocean Springs.
