In a story published by The Advocate, writer James Minton quotes ailing Bobby Joe Fabian on his move to a Mississippi prison from Louisiana. Fabian linked prison telephone scams at Angola, the Louisiana State Penitentiary, to the 1987 murders of Vincent and Margaret Sherry. Fabian is credited with providing information needed to solve the case.

“I don’t even want to get out. I’m just tired. I just want to lay low until I die, which I hope is sooner rather than later,” Fabian, 64, said.

The Advocate reports that Fabian was transferred to a state prison in Mississippi on Wednesday.
