Two jailed and another sought in burglary, stolen property case

BIG POINT -- Jackson County sheriff’s deputies had two people in custody Wednesday and were searching for a third in a case involving stolen property, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd said.

The trio, identified as Chastity Fulton, 22, of Hardy Waltman Road, of the Big Point community, Jeremiah Johnson, 25, of Billy Johnson Road, in the Wade community and Jessica Thomas, 23, of Weems Street, Moss Point.

Byrd said Fulton was charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly selling the stolen property, while Johnson was charged with burglary. Thomas, who remains at large today, is facing a charge of burglary.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Thomas should call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department at 769-3063.
