HARRISON COUNTY — Two of South Mississippi’s most wanted criminal suspects are in custody following their capture in Galveston.

Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said Douglas Cameron Gilbert, 27, and Sheli Marie Morreale Sisk, were wanted since February, when narcotics investigators allegedly found ingredients used to manufacture meth at the couple’s home on Courtney Avenue in Pass Christian.

Brisolara said they were found by a federal marshal’s fugitive task force and are held pending extradition.

The couple are among 20 criminal suspects listed in the Sun Herald’s “most wanted” series, most recently published on Sunday.

The Sun Herald updates this story in Saturday’s editions.
