GULFPORT — The Hurricane Katrina insurance trial Bossier vs. State Farm did not begin as scheduled this morning due to unforeseen circumstances unrelated to the case.

The trial is set to resume at 1:30 this afternoon, when Judge L.T. Senter Jr. is expected to rule on a motion from the policyholder, Reginald “Ed” Bossier, to eliminate or restrict testimony from two State Farm experts.

State Farm began presenting its case Thursday in the wind vs. water trial, which began Monday.
