GULFPORT -- A man accused of impersonating a police officer in a robbery was out of jail at the time on pending felonies of sexual battery, kidnapping and cocaine possession.

Charles Kevin Frady, 35, is held without bond pending related court hearings.

Gulfport police arrested him Monday on charges of simple robbery and impersonation. The Harrison County jail docket shows Biloxi police had arrested him in 2007 and 2008 on the other pending felonies.

It is not the first time he has been accused of impersonating a police officer.
