What late U.S. president owned a summer home in Pascagoula, where his widow continued to live after his death?
Zachary Taylor, 12th president.
Here's a bonus, from the Sun Herald archives: At least 13 presidents have set foot on the Mississippi Coast at some point in their lives. And there's an interesting story about Taylor: In 1848, while campaigning before a Bay St. Louis crowd, Taylor pounded his fists and leaned across the podim to make a point. The podium and platform couldn't take such abuse, and Taylor and the VIPs on the platform took a tumble when it crashed to the ground. Taylor reportedly got angry and used a few profanities.
