Construction is winding down as Gulfport High gets ready to start the year at their rebuilt campus. The campus is designed to help students be prepared for whatever field they want to go into, whether that means going to college, entering the military or going directly into the workforce.
Construction crews bustled around Biloxi Junior High School to complete work on the building as teachers moved in their classrooms in preparation for the new school year on Thursday, July 27, 2017. The state-of-the-art 95,000-square-foot building will hold up to 1,300 7th and 8th graders.
