A Pass Christian man is in the hospital after being shot in the face Saturday.
Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said the shooting happened at 11 p.m. Saturday. The victim, 56, whose identity was not released, was traveling west on McDonald Road in Pass Christian when he was side-swiped by another vehicle.
The victim turned around and followed the vehicle north on Bells Ferry Road.
Peterson said the victim told deputies that both vehicles stopped at Bells Ferry and Menge Avenue intersection, and a man got out of the vehicle that had hit the victim's vehicle and shot him in the face.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital in Gulfport and later was transferred to Tulane Hospital in New Orleans.
