D’Iberville police said a man is behind bars after a resident watched him break into a home on Lemoyne Boulevard.
Police Capt. Marty Griffin said officers went to a home in the 10000 block of Lemoyne Boulevard at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday after a report of a burglary in progress.
A resident watched a man use a pipe to break into a home, Griffin said. The resident immediately called law enforcement but the burglar left in a vehicle, Griffin said.
Griffin said the vehicle information was relayed to other law enforcement agencies, and Jackson County deputies found it near Washington Avenue.

Officials arrested Keidron Darius Jackson, 35, of Ocean Springs, Griffin said.
Jackson was taken to the Harrison County jail on a charge of burglary of a dwelling. Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set his bond at $25,000.
