Police are investigating the death of a Gautier woman who fell from a moving truck on Interstate 10 this morning.
Harrison County coroner Gary Hargrove said an autopsy performed today by state forensic pathologist Paul McGarry showed Terri Lucas died from blunt force injury to her head.
Lucas, 35, was a passenger in a black Ford F-150 truck traveling eastbound on I-10 near mile marker 44, the Cedar Lake exit, Sgt. Chris De Back said. The accident happened shortly before 1 a.m.
The driver of the truck is a male acquaintance of Lucas', but De Back declined to identify him.

Police do not suspect foul play, but the case remains under investigation.
