Police have arrested a city code-enforcement officer and a business owner on bribery charges.
Police Capt. John Miller said Joseph William Richard is accused of accepting bribes from business owner Trong "Troy" Dihn Do to approve code-enforcement issues that were not done properly.
Both were arrested Tuesday. Miller said Richard is being placed on administrative leave.
Justice Court Judge Bruce Strong signed arrest warrants and set bonds at $25,000 for Do and $50,000 for Richard.
