A tractor-trailer blocked traffic and railroad tracks on 33rd Avenue during rush-hour traffic late Thursday afternoon.
The big rig was northbound at West Railroad Street when it’s long tractor got stuck on the tracks sometime before 5 p.m. The street has a sharp decline on the north side of the tracks.
The avenue extends north from Island View Casino Resort near the beach to 28th Street.
A large tow truck was called to free the trailer. It was not immediately clear how long the truck would be on the tracks.
