A couple wanted by Bay St. Louis police for questioning in a homicide here has been found in Louisiana, officials said.
Otis Edward Stewart, 41, and his girlfriend, Carolyn Babb, 38, both of Louisiana, were picked up by St. Tammany Parish police late Friday on charges of credit card fraud, Bay St. Louis Police Chief Mike DeNardo said.
Stewart and Babb, who had been living in an apartment in the 100 block of Demontluzin Street, are wanted for questioning in the death of Maurice Colly, a Bay St. Louis businessman.
Colly, 83, owned an apartment building at North Second and St. George streets. His body was found late Thursday on the second floor of the building, which Colly used as his residence.

An autopsy showed he died from asphyxiation.
Police were alerted when Stewart used Colly’s credit card to withdraw cash from an ATM at the main branch of Hancock Bank in Bay St. Louis.
The card was used again in Gulfport on Friday, DeNardo said.
Bay St. Louis and St. Tammany authorities worked together to locate the couple.
DeNardo said extradition papers are being filed to bring the couple back to Hancock County for questioning in Colly’s murder.
