Lawsuit: State cuts may put Memorial, SRHS in critical condition

Gulfport Memorial Hospital and Singing River Health System claim the Mississippi Division of Medicaid is underpaying them. They have filed their second lawsuit over the alleged underpayments in Hinds County Chancery Court. Memorial alleges it is owed a total of $25 million for multiple years, while SRHS calculates underpayments at $21 million.
