Grants for businesses, free seminars and a small-business awards program are part of Jackson County Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Summer.
Applications for the $2,500 small-business grants are available at jcchamber.com and at the chamber office at 720 Krebs Ave., Pascagoula.
The eighth annual ANCHOR Awards will be at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 10 at the Pelican Landing Conference Center in Moss Point. Applications, tickets and sponsorships will be available starting in late May.
Summer Learning Series seminars will be held from 7:45 to 9 a.m. monthly from May through August. The seminars, free to chamber members, are sponsored by the chamber's Small Business Issue Manager Group.

The May 19 program will be "Food Service Success: Customer Service & Other Tips" with Steve Brady of Lenny's Sub Shop and Anita Brooks of Geiger Promotional Products.
Other seminars will be "Marketing to the Millennials" on June 16, "Current Issues in Employment Law" on July 21 and "Website Development" on August 18.
