I peeked through the window and tried to open the front door of this downtown building on 28th Avenue in Gulfport just west of Hancock Bank.
I thought for sure it was a new and cool coffee shop where you could relax or study or read books or magazines or use your iPad or your iPhone or have a nice conversation.
It says "Latin American Coffee Company" across the top of the building, but my imagination went too far.
A lawyer next door told me the building is residential and "Latin American Coffee Company" stays for historic reasons.
Never miss a local story.
I should have just walked a couple of blocks and gone to PJ's instead.
