George County High School baseball player Dylan Eubanks is a cancer survivor who received treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In October he had the idea to raise some money for the facility. He and his teammates have raised more than $6,000, and he and three others promised to shave their heads when they hit $5,000.
President Donald Trump spoke Saturday at the opening of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in the state's capital, Jackson, Miss. Some black leaders — including civil rights leader and Georgia congressman John Lewis — boycotted the event, saying Trump has sown racial division instead of racial harmony. Trump's statements steered clear of addressing the anger that his participation had sparked leading up to the dedication. The Ocean Springs Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man who dumped out the contents of a purse into a trash can on Nov. 20 at Bao Wow's service station in Ocean Springs.
