‘The Secret World of Walter Anderson’ was one of the $600 in books won by Linda Rothrauff of Biloxi and donated this week to the Jerry Lawrence Memorial Library in D’Iberville.

She joined the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators a few days before attending their conference in Birmingham and won the raffle for the books, six of which are signed by the author.

Rothrauff said the group was especially pleased the books were going to D’Iberville after she told them how the library was flooded during Hurricane Katrina.

The society also sent a check for $100 to process the books.
