Jan Brett, whose illustrated children’s books have won the hearts of millions, will bring her colorful bus and book-signing pen to South Mississippi during her annual U.S. tour.

Brett will be at Books-A-Million in Biloxi from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 12.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Brett’s “The Mitten, which has sold more than 6 million copies, Penguin Publishing has issued an oversized anniversary edition with a silver foil cover featuring fresh images of the woodland animals that star in the popular folk tale.

Also this year, GP Putnam’s Sons is releasing “Jan Brett’s Snowy Treasury,” a collection of four of Brett’s best-selling winter titles: “Gingerbread Friends,” “The Mitten,” “The Hat” and “The Three Snow Bears.” In 30 years, Brett has sold more than 34 million children’s books
