She's an iconic face on the docks, where fresh oysters, shrimp and other seafood are unloaded. Her business has survived through Hurricane Katrina, the BP oil spill and freshwater entering the oyster reefs with the opening of the Bonnet Carré Spillway. But, whereas she used to have over 80 boats bringing in their catch, she now has around 15.
