Monroe (La.) safety Laurence Jones told Rivals.com this week he will choose between Alabama and LSU on Dec. 2.
Jones attended Alabama's 38-17 domination of LSU last weekend at Tuscaloosa's Bryant-Denny Stadium.
"The visit was good," he said. "The atmosphere was great. Everything was good. Honestly, it was a good game until the end of the third quarter. The game was good. It wasn't going to make me choose where to go. It showed me each team against each other. It's different when those two teams get together.
"The atmosphere was real intense. It was real good. They both played extremely well. LSU had more turnovers and more mistakes, but other than that both played pretty good. Alabama capitalized on the plays LSU messed up on."
The Crimson Tide (9-0) may win out because coach Nick Saban told Jones he wasn't leaving for the Texas Longhorns, a long-running internet rumor.
