Three seemingly unrelated events occurred within the last week or so to remind me we live in a country bought and paid for in the blood, sweat and tears of our military.
Invitations were sent this week, which makes the whole wedding thing seem like it's a lot closer than it was.

So this week was shoes and tuxes. A good friend of mine, Jode' Hignight, owns a shoe store called On A Pedestal. She has great taste, so I asked her to help me with the shoes for the wedding.
