Students at Gautier High School will get to hear about history firsthand next week when they honor veterans in the community during the school’s annual veteran’s breakfast.

First United Methodist Church of Gulfport held its annual Trunk or Treat event in downtown Gulfport on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Members were encouraged to hand out candy from cars with decorated in a variety of themes. The event also featured a lots of activities for children such as an inflatable slide, games, potato sack races, praise and worship music, and of course, plenty of candy.
