Vocalist Gina Turner and Alex Rogers of Ocean Springs folk-rock trio Consumption have been one of the local music scene's more steadfast success stories in recent years. Their 2005 debut received heavy radio play on college radio stations across the country and into Canada.
Rogers recently secured a product endorsement deal with Yamaha drums, and Turner landed an endorsement from Peavey guitars. Work is progressing on their next album, tentatively set for a May release.
