Ben Marble formed Long Beach-based progressive rock band dR.O with a friend more than seven years ago. The band released several concept-driven albums and underwent an equal amount of line-up changes before the current roster of Marble, Harley Rowell, Ryan Fields and Danny D. came together.

The band recently signed a three-year multi album deal with SOA Records, owned by Country Music Hall of Fame member Razzy Bailey, and is expected to release the first album within a few months. Marble himself is an ER physician at Biloxi Regional Medical Center and received notoriety in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina when he hurled insults at Vice President Dick Cheney during a trip to Gulfport.
