Hancock Medical Services building reopens

The Hancock Medical Services Robert H. Baxter building has reopened.

Hancock Medical’s maintenance staff, with help from volunteers who have made four mission trips from Hancock County, Ind., completed the work to get the building back to operational status. The volunteers from Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Ind., spent two of their four mission trips working to help reopen the building damaged in Hurricane Katrina.

In addition, Hancock Medical announced it is offering modified barium swallow studies. Physicians can order the studies for patients to evaluate the oral and pharyngeal phases of swallowing.

Treutel Insurance a Best Practices Agency

Treutel Insurance Agency, Bay St. Louis, has been selected a Best Practices Agency for 2009 by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, marking the 12th consecutive time Treutel has been so recognized.

The Mississippi agency is one of 195 independent insurance agencies from around the United States who were selected after review by the IIABA’s “Best Practices” Study Group and Reagan Consulting.

Dance studio opens in Bay St. Louis

Let’s Dance Studio is open at 1245 Old Spanish Trail in Bay St. Louis.

The studio offers lessons and classes in ballroom, Latin and country dancing.
