Suspected bank robber nabbed

BILOXI — The man suspected of robbing a Whitney Bank on Thursday was taken into custody this morning after patrol officers saw the alleged getaway car in the parking lot of Mason Rouge apartments.

Police Detective Sgt. Christopher DeBack said police served an arrest warrant at the apartment complex at 139 McDonnell Avenue.

James Lee Young, 39, is charged with armed robbery of a bank. Charged as accessories to armed robbery are Robert Earl Williams, 49, and Heidi Marie Barilla, 26.

Justice Court Judge Bruce Strong ordered all three held on bonds of $100,000 each.
