Glass artist at JD
An exhibit by glass artist Megan Hillerud of New Orleans will be open Nov. 5 - Dec. 5 in the Fine Art Gallery at Jefferson Davis Campus, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gulfport. Hillerud is an instructor at Tulane University in New Orleans and has a background in incorporating hot glass within abstract steel sculptures. The opening reception for her show will be 12:30-2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19. Regular gallery hours are 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday. Details: 897-3909.

Pat Donohue at The Dome
The Arts Under The Dome concert season will begin its 17th season at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 with guitarist Pat Donohue from the radio program “A Prarie Home Companion.” All Arts Under The Dome concerts will take place at First United Methodist Church, 15th Street and 24th Avenue, Gulfport. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students. Season tickets are available for $40 per person or $80 for families.

MGCCC Perk Gala
MGCCC Perkinston Campus Fine Arts Department will present its annual Fall Gala, beginning at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Malone Hall Auditorium. A student art show will begin at 6:15 p.m. with pre-music provided by the MGCCC Clarinet choir. Performances will be at 7 p.m. with performances by the Perkinston Choir, Band of Gold. Art Extravaganza at Negrotto’s
Negrotto’s Gallery & Custom Framing, Executive Place, Biloxi, will hold an International Art Extravaganza from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 12. Featured artist Lamin Dibba, from Gambia, West Africa, will do a live art performance to the rhythms of music with an international flavor. “Bah Humbug” at GLT
The Gulfport Little Theatre’s Showbiz Kidz will present “Bah Humbug” at 7 p.m. Nov. 6-7 and 13-14, and 3 p.m. Nov. 8 and 15 at Gulfport Little Theater, 2600 13th Ave., Gulfport.
A special performance will be held at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 17 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
