What: The annual Peter Anderson Festival in downtown Ocean Springs will be held Nov. 7-8 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday.

Where: Along Washington Avenue and Government Street, which will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Dedication: The event is dedicated to helping find a cure for Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Free park and ride service from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday; from Ocean Springs High School and Oak Park Elementary School parking lots on Holcomb Boulevard. Signs on U. S. 90 will direct drivers south on Holcolmb to the schools.

Cost: Free, but the chamber requests a $2 donation. Details: 875-4424.
