ISLAND VIEW CASINO RESORT

Chef Emeril Lagasse kicked things up a notch when his restaurant opened at Island View casino in June. Owned by two local guys who grew up together in Gulfport, it is the city's only casino. The rooms and suites have views of the Gulf and the city, and the delicious fresh shrimp and other seafood bring people back to the buffet. Island View also boasts a 24-hour restaurant and a golf course.
