Surrounded by friends and family, USM quarterback Brett Favre talks on the phone in his bedroom in Kiln on April 21, 1991. Favre was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL Draft. Ron Wolf and the New York Jets were poised to select Favre but the Falcons picked before the Jets. Wolf later became general manager for the Green Bay Packers and traded for Favre.
