Brad Orrison opened his restaurant in 2001 using his grandmother’s credit card, and his big dream was selling $500 worth of barbecue in a week. Well, he did. And his restaurant grew from 300 square feet to over 3,600 in just a few years. As CEO/president and founder of The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint, he’s guided his Ocean Springs restaurant from that $500 a week in sales to over $2.5 million a year today. The Shed has franchises in Gulfport and Oxford while becoming one of the Top 40 Fastest Growing Businesses in Mississippi. The list of awards and recognitions he’s earned for himself and his restaurant continues to grow, and he has used his popular establishment to host more than 70 fundraisers in just the past couple of years. He is the "Guru of Barbeque."
