Coast Electric closing offices at 3 p.m. today

All Coast Electric Power Association offices will close at 3 p.m. today in order for employees to make storm preparations.

Should Ida impact South Mississippi, all standard emergency precautions have been taken to ensure a fast response and smooth operations.

All Coast Electric employees will remain on standby in the event power outages occur. A dispatcher will remain on duty throughout the evening.
