NWS issues tornado watch until 2 p.m.

GULFPORT -- The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for most of South Mississippi until 2 p.m. The watch covers Harrison, Hancock, Jackson, Pearl River, Stone and George counties. A watch means conditions are favorable for a tornado. South Mississippi is expected to see wind and rain today. The Sun Herald updates this story throughout the day.
