Eight Ole Miss, four MSU players make All-SEC teams

Eight Ole Miss and four Mississippi State football players were selected to the Preseason All-Southeastern Conference Media Teams that were announced by the league Thursday at 2014 SEC Media Days.

Ole Miss offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil was selected to the All-SEC First Team, wide receiver Laquon Treadwell to the second team and quarterback Bo Wallace to the third team.

Defensively, Ole Miss defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche and defensive back Cody Prewitt were named to the All-SEC first team. Ole Miss linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche and defensive back Tony Conner were named to the All-SEC second team and linebacker Serderius Bryant to the third team.

Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott, defensive lineman Chris Jones and linebacker Benardrick McKinney were selected to the All-SEC Second Team. Jameon Lewis was voted a third-team wide receiver.

Ole Miss was picked to finish fourth in the SEC West while Mississippi State was picked fifth.
