There's a mystery elephant coming to The Dock at Gulfport

Posted on July 16, 2014

The Harrison County Republican Club has an interesting agenda and a sublime location for this month's meeting.

Henry Ford once said, "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success," begins the invitation from Andrew Hinkebein,

With that said, to achieve success we want to focus on the important first part of that quote ... coming together.
The meeting will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at The Dock on Lake Gulfport off Seaway Road. (The turn south is near the water tower.)

"It will have no speaker, cost no money and be fully dependent on your participation as a Republican," the invite says.

The setting is reason enough to go, but then there's this:

"We can all enjoy a drink overlooking beautiful Gulfport Lake, some good old fashioned conversation and you never know, we might even address the elephant in the room. >;-)"
Now I wonder what that could be?
